Akkoord is on the App Store for iPhone at $6.99. It needs iOS 17 or later. There is no free tier, no subscription, and nothing to buy inside the app, and 100% of the proceeds go to International Justice Mission.
Akkoord needs microphone access. Check iPhone Settings, then Akkoord, and turn Microphone on. If the tuner still sits at “listening,” make sure nothing else is holding the mic (a call, a voice memo, another tuner app), then leave the Tuner tab and come back to it.
The tuner is deliberately strict: a string has to sit within ±3 cents and hold there before the yellow square arrives. That is the point of it, and it is why a lock in Akkoord means something.
Nine: Standard, Drop D, Double Drop D, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Open C, half-step down, and full-step down. Six of them carry their own hand-built chord shapes. Standard and the two step-down tunings share one set, because the intervals between the strings are identical there; only the sounding names shift, and Akkoord shifts them for you.
On your phone, in Akkoord's own storage. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. Your songs are included in a normal iPhone backup, so they survive a restore or a new phone, but deleting Akkoord deletes them along with it. If a song matters to you, export it.
Open the song and choose Export. You can copy the chart as plain text or produce a printable page with the form, the chords, and your words. Notes you have written to yourself are never exported; they are for the writer, not the chart.
Set the capo once, at the top of the screen, and the whole app follows it: the tuner retargets, the atlas states what the shape sounds like, and songs name the capo position that puts your key back on open strings.

Akkoord collects nothing. The microphone is analyzed on your device and never recorded, and the app contains no networking code at all. The full policy is on the privacy page.
