Akkoord collects no data.
Akkoord requests microphone access for exactly one purpose: detecting the pitch of your guitar while the tuner screen is open. Audio is analyzed in memory on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The microphone is off whenever you leave the tuner.
Song sketches you create are stored locally on your device only. Akkoord has no accounts, no cloud sync, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in Akkoord leaves your phone.
Akkoord's label reads Data Not Collected, and that is literally the architecture: the app contains no networking code.
Apple provides us aggregate sales and crash information for the App Store release, and basic statistics (installs, crashes) for anyone running a TestFlight build, under Apple's own privacy policy. That data flows through Apple, not through Akkoord, and none of it identifies you to us.
If you leave your email on the updates list, we store that address (via Netlify Forms) and use it only to write when there is a real update to Akkoord. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to anything else. Ask us to delete it anytime and we will.
The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
If this policy ever changes, the effective date above changes with it. Since Akkoord collects nothing, the only likely changes are clarifying ones.
